In Belthangady’s story on October 18th, something big happened. A truck full of cylinders crashed into a small coconut-carrying van near the Kottigehara check-post in Mudigere taluk. This unexpected event occurred on Monday evening, October 16.
Both drivers got hurt and had to go to the hospital.
Coconuts from the overturned van scattered all over the road, making it look like a coconut garden.
Even though there was space for small vehicles to move, the traffic was chaotic. Many cars got stuck, and passengers had a hard time, especially because it was raining.
