“Imran Khan could be subject to a slow poisoning. His mental well-being is under strain, and his freedom of movement is curtailed,” he asserted.

According to Panjutha, Khan, aged 70, was moved to a less privileged cell in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, on Monday night, following a court directive issued on September 26, relocating him from Attock jail. Security personnel have been deployed outside this new cell, indicating an escalated level of vigilance.

Furthermore, Panjutha claimed that unconventional methods are being employed to break Khan psychologically.

Having filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court addressing Khan’s jail conditions, Panjutha awaits the hearing scheduled for October 5. Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, also reportedly visited him, emphasizing a familial concern for his situation.
From Prime Minister to Legal Battles
Khan’s legal troubles initiated with his arrest on August 5 in connection with the Toshakhana case. Post his removal from office in April of the previous year, Khan found himself entangled in numerous cases.
Reinstated Bail and Ongoing Struggles
In a significant development on Monday, the Islamabad High Court reinstated Khan’s bail in nine different cases, overturning decisions from various trial courts that had revoked the same. Currently facing approximately 180 cases, Khan’s legal challenges primarily trace back to incidents following the sacking of the Lahore corps commander’s house on May 9.
