Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra Shared a Video.
Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of the Mahindra Group, recently praised a unique ‘three-wheeler’ he came across in Manhattan. He highlighted that this three-wheeler stood out from others he’d seen. It wasn’t your typical ‘commercial rickshaw’ and wasn’t designed for short-distance travel; it exuded style and sophistication.
Mr. Mahindra also expressed optimism that an Indian company might one day produce this fashionable three-wheeler. India holds a strong position globally in the three-wheeler industry.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Mahindra shared, “I spotted this extraordinary ‘three-wheeler’ in Manhattan. It’s not your usual rickshaw! It’s not just for short trips; it’s all about style. Can we expect an Indian company to make something like this one day? After all, we are leaders in the global three-wheeler market.
Just last week, Anand Mahindra expressed his admiration for Google’s new decision to produce the Pixel 8 smartphone in India. In response to a post about Google’s move, he proudly mentioned that he had informed people in the United States about his Indian-made iPhone 15. He even shared a delightful encounter at a Verizon store, where he told the salesperson that his iPhone 15 was manufactured in India, raising some eyebrows in amazement.
Mr. Mahindra also revealed that he currently owns a Google Pixel smartphone and plans to switch to the Indian-made Pixel phones once they become available. He humorously pointed out that by that time, when he mentions that his Pixel is made in India, it might not surprise anyone, as India will have established itself as a global manufacturing powerhouse.
