Six years after the second funny movie, “Fukrey 3” is finally coming to theaters. The “Fukrey 3” trailer introduces the familiar gang: Pulkit Samrat as Hunny, Manjot Singh as Lali Halwai, and Varun Sharma as Choocha. They seek advice from Pankaj Tripathi’s Panditji to deal with Richa Chadha’s character, Bholi Punjaban. Check this out too: Changes in the release dates of “Fukrey 3” and “Tiger Nageswara Rao”
The trailer starts with Pulkit and Varun reminiscing about their school days. But soon, they plan to compete against Richa Chadha, who really wants her old life back. The big question is, who will win this time?
Recently, they released new posters for “Fukrey 3” as we get closer to the trailer launch. Since it started in 2013, “Fukrey” has become a beloved comedy series in Bollywood. It’s worth noting that Ali Fazal, who’s now married to Richa Chadha, was part of the first two movies but won’t be in this one.
The release date for “Fukrey 3” changed a few times. It’s directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment. Now, it’s set to come out on September 28. It was initially supposed to be out on September 7, but Shah Rukh Khan’s movie “Jawan” took that date. So, “Fukrey 3” was pushed to December 1. When Prabhas’ “Salaar,” which was supposed to come out on September 28, got delayed, “Fukrey 3” took that spot.
Apart from “Fukrey 3,” Pankaj Tripathi has more sequels in the pipeline, like “Stree 2,” “Mirzapur 3,” and “Criminal Justice 4,” after his recent role in “OMG 2.” He said in an interview, “Sequels are easy because you know the world and character. But it can also get a bit boring, thinking about how many more parts can be made.”
