Raksha Bandhan Mayhem: Woman's Fight Over Rs 21,000 Shagun!

In the heart of Delhi, a woman had a troubling dispute with her sisters-in-law over Rs 21,000, which was meant as a gift during the Raksha Bandhan celebration on August 30 and 31.

This unpleasant incident took place in Maideen Garhi, Delhi, where the siblings of the woman’s husband gathered at her house to celebrate.

As the story goes, an argument flared up when the woman disagreed with her sisters-in-law, who wanted Rs 21,000 each from their common brother, who happened to be the woman’s husband.

Unfortunately, this argument turned into a physical fight, with the woman being hurt when her sisters-in-law didn’t get the money they asked for.

What’s even sadder is that when the woman tried to call the police, her female relatives got even more aggressive.

She ended up in AIIMS Delhi for medical treatment.

The police explained that the woman worked as a nurse and was seriously hurt by her sisters-in-law.

Raksha Bandhan, which celebrates the bond between siblings, was observed on August 30 and 31. During this time, shagun money is typically a gift that a brother gives to his sister as a symbol of love and affection.
