
In the forthcoming release, the highly anticipated S23 Fan Edition (FE) series by Samsung is set to make its debut in the market next month, boasting an array of enhancements compared to its predecessor, the S21 FE. Expected to power the 6.4-inch FHD+ display on Samsung’s S23 FE smartphone is either the Exynos 2200 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 engine, with a reveal anticipated for September, as indicated by tipster Yogesh Brar.
The phone’s rear is rumored to house a triple camera system, featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. Furthermore, the device is expected to include a 10-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls, operating on the Android 13 platform with One UI 5.1. The battery capacity of the S23 FE is projected to be 4,500 milliampere-hours, complemented by 25W charging capabilities.
The S23 FE is also likely to offer support for wireless charging and exhibit water and dust resistance in accordance with its IP rating.
Prior reports suggest that the S23 FE could feature a flat back design and a 2.5D curved display. Depending on the region, the device may be powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, as well as the Exynos 2200 chipset.
Expected specifications encompass a 4,500mAh battery, up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and storage options reaching up to 256GB utilizing UFS 3.1 technology. This performance will be complemented by One UI 5.1, built upon the foundations of Android 13.
