Shilpa Shetty is about to celebrate thirty years since her big debut in the 1993 movie “Baazigar.” She’s returning to the lead role in the upcoming film “Sukhee.” The teaser for “Sukhee” came out on a Wednesday, and it features Shilpa as a strong-willed homemaker.
The movie “Sukhee” is all about everyday life. It starts with Shilpa talking about her daily routine, taking care of her family – her working husband, school-going son, and an ailing father figure.
She’s stuck in a routine until she gets an online invitation to her school reunion in Delhi. Even though her husband doesn’t want her to go, she decides to take the train to Delhi, leaving him to fend for himself in the kitchen.
She feels guilty about leaving her family, but her old school friends encourage her. She changes from her usual clothes to red dresses, enjoys drinks with her friends, and speaks her mind when she overhears men complaining about similar stories of women’s empowerment in movies.
