Social Media Shocker: Why Did Kohli, Rahul, and Pandya Hit ‘Unfollow’ on Punjabi Sensation Shubh?
A group called Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM), which is part of a political party called Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), strongly asked for Shubh’s concert in India to be canceled because they thought he supported Khalistani separatists.
This caused the companies sponsoring Shubh’s concert in Mumbai, a brand called BoAt, to withdraw their support. Then, Book My Show, the website where people buy tickets online, confirmed on a social media platform called X that Shubh’s tour was canceled.
Indian Cricketers Unfollowing Shubh on Instagram
Additionally, some well-known Indian cricketers, like Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, and KL Rahul, stopped following Shubh on Instagram. It’s interesting to note that not too long ago, Kohli had praised Shubh’s talent and even said he was his favorite artist.
But now, because of this situation, Kohli unfollowed Shubh on social media. Still, Shubh has a big following online with over one million followers on Instagram and 13 million people listening to his music every month on Spotify.
