
On November 2, India is all set for its first game against Sri Lanka at the famous Wankhede Stadium. Excitingly, the BCCI plans to honor Sachin Tendulkar by unveiling a life-sized statue outside the stadium on November 1.
There’s going to be a special event attended by Sachin Tendulkar, the Indian cricket team, and other important guests. The statue will find its place near the Sachin Tendulkar stand inside the Wankhede Stadium. Amol Kale, the president of MCA, mentioned, “We’re working on the final details, and formal invites will be sent out soon.”

This gesture is to celebrate Sachin Tendulkar turning 50 this year and to recognize his significant contributions to cricket and the country. It’s a special gift from MCA.
Sachin Tendulkar, who is also the global ambassador for the ICC, was present at the start of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023. He even had a role in presenting the World Cup trophy during the event. Additionally, he shared his insights in the commentary during the India-Pakistan match on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
